Thanks for the suggestions. I considered the dry ice route, but wasn't sure if it would produce an amount of smoke that would be noticeable. I don't think dry ice smoke would rise as much, either. I'll check them both out. Thanks again.

I do comedy emcee work. I need to know if there are chemicals (preferably just two) that, when mixed together, would produce smoke. To help you come up with a solution that would fit my needs, here's what I want to do. I want to walk onstage while putting on a jacket. After I have the jacket on, I begin my introduction of the next act. As I do, smoke begins to come out of the jacket. I look surprised and tell the audience that it's my new smoking jacket. Corny? Yes, but I saw someone do it years ago and it gets a lot of laughs (and many groans). Any help would me MOST welcome, both chemicals and/or a method of mixing them as I put the jacket on. Thanks for anyone who can help me with this.
