    H5n1

H5N1 virus has a high degree of mutation. This has led the development of a proper treatment for h5n1 next to impossible. However, there are drugs that can prevent its spreading in human bodies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H5N1#Treatment_and_prevention_for_humans
  2. I had this strange doubt one sunny afternoon The intensity of sun's heat decreases as we move away from it. So, sun's heat must be much more intense near Venus than near Earth. If we could design a solar cell and send it to space close to sun ( not that close to burn the cell ) , couldnt we be extracting more energy? The electromagnetic energy then collected can be transported with minimal loss using a wave guide. ;)

    H5n1

Well of course, the outbreak of bird flu caused a lot of fear among people. I heard from my friends that a person infected with h5n1 virus can only live for few weeks. Anyway, here, people had stopped taking chicken for few months to prevent the flu from getting transferred from birds to humans. :hihi: So far, everyone is safe and we are safely eating birds now ;)
  5. E = MC2 But before energy can be released, sufficient energy must be available to make two hydrogen atoms collide. Such huge energy is available in SUN. So, it can have fusion. But it is practically difficult to implement it here because of the initial energy required.
  6. It wasnt just a game of counting. First of all, many of these Y2K affected systems were networked. Also, they maintained huge databases. The fields in the databases that offered only two digits were increased to four digits (or perhaps even more .... or we will end up with Y10K problem :( ) Also, if the bug was in an assembly language, they had to convert 8 bit registers (which allowed only 2 digits ) to 16 bit ones. And changing assembly program involves much more work as we must see that all 8 bit operations are transformed to 16 bit operations) :(
  7. Hi.... Well actually, our servers are monitored by proxy and they prevented the display of register button in the link..... http://hypography.com/forums/register.php? No Problems, i contacted the staff section with the user id and passwd i desired to have. They registered on my behalf I'd like to say .... Thanks a LOT :(
  8. Thanks a lot arkain and AI Now that we can have a unidirectional flow, is it possible for us to construct a solar energy tapper ( a solar cell ) very close to the sun and then transport the energy. In that case, maybe we could get a lot of energy than what our existing solar systems can supply. BTW, can u please how Fourier Transform filter helps to focus ;)
  9. I got this strange thought when i was thinking of solar energy I mean see, Why do we get so much less energy as compared to actual energy emitted by the sun? It is because, sun emits electromagnetic energy in all directions. ;) Is there any way in which we can transport electromagnetic energy (with minimal loss) in one direction from one point to another?:) ( note that the there must be no physical connection between the two points :hihi: )
  10. Hi Friend actually nothing can be said..... if F=ma is violated, u cant come to a conclusion that force is independent of mass. a heavier object when pushed would accelerate at the same rate as a lighter object with the same force only when force is independent of mass. But even if F=ma is violated, there might be some other form in which force is related to mass :hihi:
