You either want your phone number unlisted OR you are trying to get a phone number (belonging to someone else), which is, obviously NOT listed. I'm guessing it's the latter. If you try People Search or Intellius or whatever other site (on the Internet) that offers you personal information (addresses, marital status, phone number, etc.), you will indeed have to pay for it.You've probably already tried calling Directory Assistance. If the person's number is NOT listed, then you know the operator CANNOT give out the number. Doing a reverse look up to find a number only works if the alternate number is available for viewing.
