Ipwins.exe - REMOVE!!!

Recommended Posts

there is also AVG suit, i run it on my gaming box, it works, its free and comes with spyware remover program. I think the thing i like about AVG is that it runs on boot and checks stuff that tries to boot up as well...

Kaspersky is good, they've had some problems, but i think they have solved them. (you know, plus support the motherland :) )

Dont go for the software giants, while norton is oK its still a big corporation that works with and pays M$ so you pay too!

Well, my machine went for a complete ball of crap now.

Spyware and adware and crap popping up all over the place. I've run ten different anti-malware tools, and they all report hundreds of worms and trojans and such. Problem is, of course, you go to any adware removal tool's website, and they tell you its the latest and greatest and they can run a free check. So you download the bloody thing, and sure as hell, it's a free check. The moment you hit the "remove" button, it tells you that you have to purchase the damn thing before it'll do anything further.

This is annoying like hell. I'm not gonna blow bucks on new anti-viral software. My PC is in need of a complete rebuild in any case, but on the short term, do you guys know of any decent antimalware freeware? That doesn't only scan, but can clean, as well?

The important thing to note about these sites is that they either just say your pc's got the clap or they actually give it to it so they can say it's got it...I've checked many out with a nice healthy clean pc only to get infected resulting in the need for pc pennicilin!

ls /mnt/windooze/Windows

no such file or directory..... shikes..... not there either :) but i want ipwins and soundman too.... oh wait yes i got it, this is what it took, booted up a vm of unpatched XP (no sp), went to the porn site that chackmool suggested, and Boerseun confirmed, and got that VM infected, then did a diff, to figure out which files were added and what was changed, gathered up the files, and transfered the infected files to linux, and finally ran them in wine  /home/alexander/.wine/c_drive/windows.... perfect.... and i thought it was hopeless... mmm polybot....
