BrainForce
Rightly said:thumbs_up Now another Mr.Apple problem:confused: Which rotates faster pulsar or a magnetar? Also tell the law of physics applying on it.If you do answer ,please ask a question too ,to keep continuity in thread. Quiz is "answer a question ,leave a question" type
Jay-qu
I think its a magnatar, like the name suggests it has a large magnetic field but I am unsure if this is cause of the spin, or result.. question: What is the closest star to our solar system? Jay-qu
Al, the avatar is a public one, I will see what I can do about getting it removed from the list but in the mean time pipe down ok, hes just a new guy and probably didnt intentionly use the same avatar as you.. its just a cool avatar. Tarantism
question: What is the closest star to our solar system? Proxima Centauri What is the Hubble Constant?
BrainForce
What is the Hubble Constant? Tarantism I think its value is 72 megaparsec/sec.It is a constant to calculate radial velocity of a galaxy,Generally it is it denoted by H(0)subscript,velocity=hubble c0ns.*distance from us. Now.Mr.Apple problem,From which part of solar system do comets belong?
Jay-qu
Proxima Centauri What is the Hubble Constant?I will take that as an answer, but it is in dispute whether it is infact a star! It is very small.. The hubble constant is a number that reflects the speed at which the universe is expanding at a given distance from us, [math]H_0[/math] has units km/s/Mpc. Currently accepted values range between 50 and 100 km/s/Mpc oh and the inverse of [math]H_0[/math] gives an approx age to the universe ;)
Tarantism
Brain, are you talking about our solar system? i think that would be the astroid belt yeah? What is the name of a large (1,000 times larger than the largest galaxy we see) gravitational lump in the universe whose nature is hidden by the milky way? Tarantism
oh and the inverse of [math]H_0[/math] gives an approx age to the universe ;) i didnt know that... The most recent calculation of the constant, using the satellite WMAP began in 2003, yielding a value of 71±4 (km/s)/Mpc. As of the 2006 data, that figure has been refined to 70 (km/s)/Mpc, +2.4/-3.
Jay-qu
Now.Mr.Apple problem,From which part of solar system do comets belong? That would be the Kuiper belt and possibly even the Oort cloud for extremely long period comets;)
Tarantism
That would be the Kuiper belt and possibly even the Oort cloud for extremely long period comets;)dernit cledus! so does that void my question?

Tarantism
what i meant was, i answered the previous question incorrectly, and then, thinking i had the correct answer like a fool i asked a question, per the rules of the thread. i suppose i was trying to figure out if my question was going to be answered....i like it. ah, i hope for clairity :hihi:
Qfwfq
I will see what I can do about getting it removed from the list but...I disagree, I've proposed the admins remove it from Unk's profile (and leave it available to all). This is the second time he has complained about someone choosing the same one and I don't see why he should be heeded. Unk, if you want your own exclusive, copyright avatar then design one yourself, as I did. Only then you can complain if someone else has the nerve to use it.
