COVID19 is Genetically Engineered?

Recommended Posts

So I was looking at the sequence of COVID19 and I found that it has the indicators in the sequence of being genetically engineered having many restriction enzyme sites(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restriction_enzyme) in it that are not apart of standard coronavirus genome. These restriction enzymes sites are generally used for DNA ligation(https://www.addgene.org/protocols/dna-ligation/) creating recombinant DNA(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recombinant_DNA).

Do you still think that COVID19 is a natural virus?

But actually on second thought these markers could be a result of when they sequenced the genome, The Jury is out on this one. I don't know whether coronavirus is natural or not, but I would hope someone would not release a pandemic level pathogen on purpose or accident. The Coronavirus Pandemic is almost over with anyways I am going to stop wasting my time thinking about this virus, it has already consumed years of time. It doesn't really matter if it is natural or unnatural, it happened it is basically over with. But I want to point out that "I told you so" I told everyone how horrible it would be to have a global pandemic because of a invasive micro/nano-organism, I hope 2019 to 2021 has taught everyone a lesson about why you don't want to have a global pandemic.
