Earth is forming. gasses and heat are busy making our oceans and a crust is forming where gravity is at its least resistance, forming one giant land mass. Call this land Gondwana, Pangaea or whatever you like. The point is it was all connected at one point and creatures could roam as they pleased. A meteor ruins it for everyone, spinning the planets crust in all logical directions. this rips the earth apart quickly, creating the pacific ocean floor and tectonic plates in the process. Such an impact and force causes the land to behave in a liquid like manor. The ocean floors topography supports this imo, just look at the nonsense that is New Zealand and tell me how the butt it makes any sense with all current theory's on orogenesis for it no form out of nowhere like that.

Supporting evidence:

-Global distribution of marsupials, carnivorous pitcher plants

-Himalayas forming so quickly

-Convergent evolution is no longer an excuse for so many of the worlds species

-Australia's landscape looking as if it was stripped bare. hence the thin layer of top soil and possibly why the whole darn place is red from iron-oxide. dunno. I'm guessing here ok?

-Ever heard of this weird little thing tektites? https://malagabay.wordpress.com/2013/05/30/the-tale-of-the-tektites/

-Lines up with the fossil record. Oldest eucalyptus fossils are found in south America oldest marsupial in china and oldest (still living, previously thought extinct) conifer species in Australia.

-where you'll find rocks typical of deep under the earth that confuse scientists, think of this idea and if it works.

Any input negative or positive is welcome. If this is dumb, please explain why. If you can give any constructive feedback I'd appreciate it.

If you really need more of my notes you can ask. If you plan to steal this idea (go for it, it's driving me crazy) please just do one thing for me. I want the meteor Named Avey Pessano Impact, after my girlfriends mother who gave me a home when no one else would. I've always wanted to thank her properly. cheers.

I have no doubt all the continents were together at one time. My best guess would be in the far past something must have hit pretty hard to start the break up of the continents. I haven't researched it much, just trying to remember what I learned in about 5th grade. I always thought it was interesting though even as a kid.

No you fkn idiot, something didn't hit hard and the only thing you've said that makes sense is your repeating that your mind went south when you were about 12.

Well, aren't you a little feisty Monty.😄 Did you forget to take your meds or something? You seem overally aggressive then even your normal self.  And believe it or not Monty  some scientist have said a large asteroid may have hit the Earth to start the movement of the continents.
