I was walking my dog just earlier, and up in the night sky, there was the brightest star I'd ever seen (besides the sun, obviously). I immediately assumed it was a comet, as there was also a film of light protruding from above it greatly resembling a comet's tail. My dad came out to look at it (he has very poor vision, so he didn't see the tail) and told me it was most likely Jupiter. We were both wrong, however, as he used an astronomy mapping app on his phone to identify it, as Mars. He said it was likely as bright as it was because its orbit happened to be unusually close to ours, but even that wouldn't explain the film of light so closely resembling a comet's tail. What do you think happened?

Your hero David's surname reflects his quality as a scientist beautifully. As it does the reaction of any rational scientist to his nonsensical work.

I think Mars hasa weak magnetic field so maybe it got hit with a CME while you were looking at it and it reacted to produce a tail. No idea if that's possible, just a wild guess.

Very possibly. I thank you for actually contributing to the topic, instead of picking fights like Montgomery over here.

If you are referring to what happened to Mars in the past. They did do remote viewing on it viewing to about a millions years ago. It can be read here:

According to this, their was some kind of catastrophe that happened and the beings there had to evacuate, but many were left their to die.

It appears this was in 1984. What I'm talking about happened a couple of nights ago.

And just like that, nobody took him seriously.

Well, that is a bit of history of Mars. So maybe you can put the pieces together. I am not sure what you seen the other night. It would have helped if you got a video of it.

Why don't you actually try applying knowledge to the thread instead of just abusing the posters in it? Have you ever tried that?

Simply because sane people don't waste their time applying knowledge to moonbattery nonsense like this. There are dozens of explanations that can explain what this kid has seen without having to imagine up some supernatural bullshit.

As is demonstrated by your first reply to the OP. How about considering going to investigate one of those natural explanations before just jumping straight into more Icky David ****? Hmmmmm?

Did you ever think you may be the insane one trying to project yourself on other people who are sane? David Icke is a great researcher and has written many amazing books that have opened countless people's eyes to how the world really works and help them break the chains that bind them.

Maybe you should take a look at the allegory of the cave by Plato and learn something.

https://faculty.washington.edu/smcohen/320/cave.htm

In the allegory, Plato likens people untutored in the Theory of Forms to prisoners chained in a cave, unable to turn their heads. All they can see is the wall of the cave. Behind them burns a fire.  Between the fire and the prisoners there is a parapet, along which puppeteers can walk. The puppeteers, who are behind the prisoners, hold up puppets that cast shadows on the wall of the cave. The prisoners are unable to see these puppets, the real objects, that pass behind them. What the prisoners see and hear are shadows and echoes cast by objects that they do not see.

Even a video made for you Monty:

Have you ever read any of his books that you can comment on him? And what is a rational scientists? Science at its best is an open-minded method of inquiry, not a belief system. Unless you are one of these fundamental controlled scientist paid by the Cabal. Paid to persuade you into believing in an agenda and belief system that the Cabal wants you to believe just like a cult and a religion.

"Scientism" -- a dangerous cult founded on irrational dogma and faith-based beliefs in faulty, fraudulent ideas being paraded as science. A common trait that weaves its way through every topic of "Scientism" is corporate profits. Any time something is being pushed with aggressive demands of "SCIENCE!" that also happens to enrich wealthy corporations, it's probably based on fraud, not real science.

I hadn't even heard of him before this thread. But a cursory analysis of his work reveals nothing but pseudoscience; which, by the way, is far more of an "agenda" than true science has ever been.
And to answer your question, by true science I mean a hypothesis that has been proven or virtually proven by observations, reasoning, and previously established science reached through the same process. Only through some laughable mental gymnastics could one attempt this scientific method and reach the conclusion that the vectors of society are controlled by extrasensory beings. Only through strict condemnation of critical thought can such ideas be maintained in any semi-rational community; much like, say, a cult or religion being paraded as science.

So why with this Covid aren't they using real science? Can you explain that if these paid experts are doing science the right way?

I agree that professionals are not acting very professionally in the midst of this pandemic. It's anyone's guess as to why, but it is indubitable that, given the current evidence, CoVID19 is not nearly as intense a threat as it is being made out to be.

US politics have clouded the issue so I'll set it straight for you Americans just one time.

The Democrats are promoting it beyond reason to do dirt on Trump. Trump and his followers are trying to play it down to show how Trump has lied and failed to take adequate measures.

And in the middle are the facts. The death toll has dropped but rational people will continue with necessary precatuations because of the risk of another wave of the virus. And that's backed up by Europe's current experience.

Nobody should be taking any Americans seriously on what they are saying about the Covid-19 virus. Both sides have squandered away their credibility.

Agreed. It should not be treated as harmless; however, in regards to everything from symptom severity to death toll, it isn't anywhere close to illnesses we should be hypervigilant of.

While it’s not my intention to distract from the interesting twists and turns in this thread, but is it possible that this is what you saw?

A weird long cloud on Mars has returned. It's right on schedule, scientists say.

It seems this cloud shows up around this time of year but it is doubtful it can be spotted with the naked eye. Still, under just the right conditions maybe it’s possible?
