# Recurring Decimal Or Not

## Recommended Posts

If N is an odd prime number > 10 is (N+(N+1)) /1100) always recurring ?

try :

(11+12)/1100

(13+14)/1100

(17+18)/1100

(19+20)/1100

(23+24)/1100 ...

and so on

Almost !

If p is a prime>11 then d is a repeating decimal.

d=p(p+1)/1100

d=[p/11][(p+1)/100]

The 1st term has no common divisors.

The 2nd term will have 2 decimal positions.
