This upgrade is important because 1) All forum members will also become website members (ie, what we call contributors)2) All who have signed up as contributors become members of the forums.3) The forums will be quicker, more customizable and generally look better! If you have made any preference settings in your profile they may be lost, because I need to set some default values for the forums to work the first ime everyone logs in. Also, some users will find that their password no longer works, in which case there will be a password retrieval function which generates a new password. Inevitably, some of you will experience problems and I'll do my best to solve them. This is also a good time to let me know if there are any features you would like to see in the forums - like e-mail posting, better subscription features, more polls etc. Post your comments here if you have any suggestions and I will try my best to incorporate them into the upgrade (or in any future revisions).
