First it talks of the oldest things on Earth - and then promptly follows with an article about a star thousands of light years from Earth. Secondly and more interestingly it says the star is old because of its low Fe content. Do you know why this would be? I'm no astronomer but I am aware that Fe is the element with the most stable nucleus of them all. I would naively have expected the amount of Fe to increase with time, rather than decrease.
