Skin Of The Planets

The "skin" of the  planets is a function of the solar radiation incident on it's surface.

eg. Mars is hot and Uranus cold.

 

The human analogy for the same is the density of melanocytes in the skin.

However there is a dichotomy of approaches when extrapolating this to humans.

 

Why ?

 

Can we not relate different shades (skin tan) as the human adaptation to thermal radiation ?  :zip:
