Theory Of Emotive Response

Recommended Posts

I believe that response to stimuli is based on :

- the stimulus itself
- the cognitive resolution of the stimulus in the mind of the perceiver

For example if you ask a question based on geography to a cartographer and an accountant, you are far more likely to get a positive response from the former.

I guess this kind of resolution could be used in forensic science for identifying suspects when an analogous situation arises. (in conjunction with a lie detector).

Do you agree ?
