Maine farmer 287
Farming is a hard habit to quit, but as I begin to feel my physical limitations more and more, I find myself often pondering a life without cows. This leads to my wondering how much I would have to exercise to maintain my current level of physical fitness. How would I go about finding how many calories are burned doing various activities, such as shoveling, carrying feed bags, climbing on and off tractors and trucks, changing tires, and roping cattle? I also know of no exercise machines that replicate these activities.
