The book, Lake Effect by Rich Cohen, is receiving excellent reviews. I know someone who recently purchased this book and he is enjoying it very much. Laci Posted June 9, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 9, 2014 No, I am not from New Zealand. I am from Northern USA.:) The winters here last a very long time. We have been known to get our first snowfalls as early as October and our last snowfall as late as May. Our winters generally last from November through April though.
