Is Ones Philosophy Worth Dying For?

If philosophy is the love of wisdom, is ones philosophy worth dying for? It has been told to me philosophy is more than three thousand years old. Would one think after three thousand years of killing raping pillaging lying and war, man would seek peace. Do people use there knowledge of philosophy to teach encourage or program there philosophy to others as too lead them astray? It is speculated the world has been here six thousand sixty thousand or six hundred thousand years. Where is man kinds peace?

If one can live ones philosophy and believe it, can he/she die for it? It would seem mans philosophies are at odds with each other and we still kill each other over them. Man does not seem to be interested in seeking peace but the opposite, evil proven without doubt. What is the hope of the world enlightenment or destruction. Which one will you live or die for?
