Hi all!

I want to do a big poll about human sexuality.

 

We can say that there are four big sexual orientations in human sexuality: gynesexuality (attraction to pubescent females), androsexuality (attraction to pubescent males), pedosexuality (attraction to prepubescent children) and zoosexuality. These are the four main sexual orientations in human sexuality.

 

Every person in the world has one of these 4 sexual orientations!

 

Most persons are attracted to pubescent persons of the opposite sex. But there are many other people who are primarily attracted to pubescent persons of the same sex, or to prepubescent children or to animals. For example, if a man he's not attracted to women, it means that he's attracted to men, or to little boys, or to little girls, or to animals. Or he's asexual!

 

 

This poll is made to see how many persons have homosexual, pedosexual and zoosexual fantasies. I think there are more persons that we can imagine!

Furthermore, REMEMBER that having pedosexual fantasies is not a crime. Pedosexuality is a natural part of human sexuality and about 10% of population (experts say) have some attraction to prepubescent children. What you’re describing aren’t usually considered the major, or “four big” classifications of sexual orientation, but are sexual interests conventionally classified as psychiatric disorders, referred to broadly as paraphilia. In this context, an important distinction between sexual orientation and interest is that orientation is considered innate and enduring, and thus not to be treated as a disorder, but accepted as a normal personality trait, while compulsive sexual interest is considered a disorder, and should be psychiatrically treated, not accepted as a normal personality trait.

 

Note, importantly, my use of the adjective compulsive in classifying a sexual interest as a disorder. Psychiatrically healthy people may experience interest in sexual activity involving prepubescent children (pedophilia) or animals (zoophilia), but no in a way that compels them to act on their interest in defiance of social norms. A unhealthy person, such as a pedophile, suffers uncontrollable compulsive thoughts about sex with prepubescent children, which may drive him to act out his interest by having sex with children, or procure illegal materials such as child pornography, which may lead to the injury of children, and/or criminal sanctions.

 

Until you’ve established the legitimacy of your hypothesis that paraphilia are major sexual orientations – which I don’t believe you’ll be able to do, because, to the best of my knowledge, psychiatry and scientific evidence doesn’t support such a hypothesis – I don’t think you should conduct a poll on the subject.

Maybe, but you seem to be somewhat obsessed with the idea that pedophilia is some how justified by the idea it is a sexual orientation. Any adult child sexual relationship will always end bad for the child. No way to justify it...

Pedophiles have not "uncontrollable compulsive thoughts"... they are not more compulsive than heterosexuals and homosexuals (since many married men destroy their family having sex with other women, I guess heterosexuals could be as compulsive as pedophiles.. ). Maybe child molesters are compulsive... but child moelsters are not pedophiles... I mean, they are pedophiles in the same exactly way that classical rapists are heterosexuals. It's like to say that heetrosexuals are compulsive because rapists don't control their sexual impulses to women

Your single citation is from an advocacy group not a peer-reviewed journal. Subject selection seems rather unbalanced and haphazard. If the only data analysis is based on proportions then I would question any interpretations.

 

I certainly wouldn't build any theory of sexuality based on that kind of investigation.

Is it a proven fact that homosexuality is an inborn attraction? Solidly proven, I mean!

If it's not, then homosexuality is not a sexual orientation!

 

By the way, the definition of "sexual orientation" is more a social definition rather than a scientifical one. And since it's only a social definition, I have the right to have my personal opinion about which and many are sexual orientations.

 

In my mind, sexuality is a spectrum, and sexual orientations are only names invented by humans to approximately describe human sexuality. And if we want to describe this spectrum (which is obviously not 1 or 0, 0 or 1, heterosexual or homsoexual) I guess we need more names.

 

I think that sexual orientation it's not attraction to one gender. I think sexual orientation is "attraction towards body's features and forms": heterosexuals are not attracted to females, but to some features and forms related to feminine body.

Homosexuals are not attracted to males, but they're attracted to some features and forms related with masculine body.

 

There are basically four types of body in humans: women, men, prepubescent girls, prepubescent boys. Every one of these categories have a peculiar body with peculiar features and forms, that other three categories don't have.

 

So, there are at least 4 sexual orientations in human sexuality... one sexual orientation for every type of body.

 

p.s.: if most men are heterosexuals is because masculine brain is predisposed to be attracted to "femine features", and if most women are heterosexuals, it's because the feminine brain is predisposed to be attracted to masculine features. Pedophiles are attracted to childish features... androgynous features, we could say!

Strange... when I was in my teens, I was attracted to teens of the opposite sex. When I was in my twenties, I was attracted to twenty-somethings of the opposite sex. And now that I'm in my thirties, I'm attracted to thirty-somethings of the opposite sex. Judging by the fact that my orientation doesn't feature in your list of pedophiles and homosexuals with a penchant for pre-pubescent boys, I must be a seriously deranged kind of sexual predator. I think the point being made is that one can find people with all forms of sexual orientations, with society tending to endorse some, but not all. Religion placed most, beyond heterosexual, including homosexual, in the closet, with modern society cherry picking that closet, for which it wants to call socially acceptable. All the homosexual arguments like, propensity, precedent in nature and history can be used with all the rest. But in the end, it is not scientific consistency that decides, but the subjectivity of other social factors.

 

The argument of propensity, often takes a back seat to larger social considerations. Since humans have will power, one is not a mindless slave to compulsion. Some orientations are required to use more will power, while others are given more of a pass with a lower will power requirement.

 

The bottom line is, sexuality was designed for procreation. The rest came later. To make sure will power or even circumstances does not stand in the way of procreation, there is compulsion to sex, as well as a carrot on a string of pleasure. For example, there is a high level of abortion, because the compulsion and pleasure will often exceed the conscious choice to end the natural process with procreation. Children was not the intent, but rather one is conscious more in the loop around the carrot on the string.

 

As an analogy, food tastes good and hunger has own compulsion, but the bottom line goal is energy and nutrition. The carrot of pleasure and compulsion helps assure that you eat. But many can get caught up in the carrot loop, even when the final instinct has no need for additional food. This type of loop is not induced naturally by the goal, but is more in the mind. This mind assisted loop, based on copying when the loop was natural, can occur even until the body is made less healthy.

 

Many sexual orientations are more about front end loops, not generated by the goal of procreation, since many orientations do not even set up the conditions for the ends to be met. It would be like standing in front of a pile of dirt. Deep inside this will not induce hunger at the level of instinct, since it can't satisfy the needs of the body. However, at level of mind and a carrot loop, some people may actually gain conscious pleasure eating the dirt. Someone who likes blow-up dolls, is well aware this will never lead to a child, but that does not matter since the front end loop is the more limited goal.

 

If society restricts front end loops, that lack logically consistent and natural goals, this can be positive in the longer term. For example, society might try to restrict diet, since overeating too much junk food is not consistent with the natural goal of good health, no matter how fun the carrot loop. But since society is inconsistent with all loops, other carrots loops want to be part of that inconsistency.

 

One object way to determine carrot loops is the added social cost to make it possible. Natural is efficient, while synthetic adds additional costs and may require a host of accommodations and social adjustments to work.

Fail! The correct sentence is: "pedophiles with a penchant for boys", and not "homosexuals with a penchant for pre-pubescent".

 

An "homosexual with a penchant for prepubescent" is a man who is attracted to men and little boys.

 

A "pedophile with a penchant for boys" is a man exclusively attracted to little boys.

 

You are linking two difefrent things An homsoexual is not pedophile and a pedophile is not homosexual... but yes, if you live in USA I understand well your approach (a poll of 1970, showed that 70% of population in USA dind't know the difference between pedophiles and gays)
