ADD and ADHD changes pathways in the Reward Center of the brain

Hey, I have a few medical related questions. well its more neurologically related but its still medical.

When I was little I was diagnosed with ADHD. Now its more like ADD, because I have calmed down in my teenage years (while all my friends started to become a little bit crazier :-P ).

One day I read an article about a study where many people with ADD and ADHD have a problem with the rewards center functioning correctly. I can relate to that. For example, I know I must do well in all my classes (especially this year, which is my freshman year of college). But I neglect to get help with my studies.

Has anybody heard of this study? and where can I find more information about it?

Thanks,

Theory
