A23 Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 Hi everyone, I'd like a program that turns off the computer after a given time, and forbids to put it on again before the next day (for avoiding abusive usage). alexander Posted February 1, 2010 Report Share Posted February 1, 2010 you can much more easily disable login on the system between certain hours, that way, no matter what they do, they cant use the system between those hours. alexander Posted February 3, 2010 Report Share Posted February 3, 2010 like i said, it would have to be an OS-level lock, but if you want me to, i can come up with what you would need to do, but i need to know the environment you are working on, as in what kind of a server, what auth system, end-points (as in client OSes), and what exactly you are trying to accomplish, and ideally, why...
