In Norway 91% of the Sun was covered, and almost 20,000 people showed up (including myself) to see it in one of Oslo's biggest parks (at 4:45 am ). It was a really cool event! I've seen partial eclipses before, but this was the biggest so far. Anyone ever seen a total eclipse? What was it like? Tormod Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There were people who thought that it will be as dark as night, or that it'd be the end of the world. A few gypsies back in my country were digging holes to hide in....well it was fun. I'll remember it for the rest of my life. And the view was also incredible. I think I took pictures but they didn't come out-that's what the internet is for :-P it's still not going to feel as if I have taken them....
