Fishteacher73
Welcome! Try reading the FAQ...Has a lot of info in how posting and the various features work. There is also a test forum to try out diferent things within the board. And finally just asking will often work as well. Good Luck!
Tormod
A "thread" is a single discussion within a forum. The difference between a "topic" and a "thread" is not always clear, but a thread can contain several topics. This very discussion we are having right here is a "thread" on the topic of "what is a thread". If I were to start blabbering about chess or fish, I would suddenly be "off-topic" and that is a bad idea. Does that help at all? Feel free to ask about anything! rhsc38
I read the FAQ'S. There is a section marked posting and reading and under that title there is zip, nada, nothing. Lot's of info on attachments though. When I signed on I was directed to introduce myself and was attempting to do so. It sounded so easy after all. Apparently i'm lacking some basic understanding. I give up for now, but thx for the attempt. I think I'll stick to reading the fascinating articles and leave the introductions to the experts for awhile. thx again.
