Galapagos Posted October 14, 2008 Report Share Posted October 14, 2008 News - Africa: Albinos flee sorcerers and organ traders On September 22, a 16-year-old albino girl by the name of Spes was attacked in her village of Nyabitsinda. She was dismembered and her body parts disappeared. A few days later, it was the turn of a man in the village of Bweru. Officials have reported two other recent murders in other parts of the country. Police have established that the limbs, organs and blood of the albinos were smuggled into neighbouring Tanzania and sold to local sorcerers who use them to concoct lucky charms. Holy #*$$&*&%*!!! That is some crazy stuff. It's weird how such a bad idea like that just pops up and spreads so quickly. Moontanman Posted October 15, 2008 Report Share Posted October 15, 2008 This has to be the most outrageous example of how belief in the supernatural can cause people to do horrific things. It's really difficult to see how humans could be so caught up in stupidity they would believe such a thing. Matter of fact I would say that anyone who would do such a thing or participate in it is much less than human in a very real way. Then again only humans could think in such an illogical way.
