i and my friends are planning to design a pen that can be folded. so for this purpose we want information regarding plastics which can be used to make pen's refill. we want the material to be elastic good enough so that it can be folded and opened numerous of times.

WORKING:

there will be a flap at the folding point. this flap will attach and dettach the two parts. when u dettach it & fold it, it will work as a flap for the ink, restricting the ink from flowing.it will also work as a lock when u unfold it.Also refill, which is the main part of it, should be made of that plastic which is flexible enough for this kind of pen.

other ideas , other than use of plastic refill are also welcomed.

well here's the key for my idea

instead of the refill till the top let the refill be till the point till the pen folds

and putting a piston of a syringe on the rest of the part

1- body of the pen

2- flap

0- refill

5 & 6- piston of the syringe

7- nib or whatever you call it

*- nothing i had to put it to space it properly :hihi:

well when we push the piston the refill will go down and the piston will lock in a mechanism.

and we can manually push the button which will release the piston enabling us to close the pen.
