We have spent numerous hours on the upgrade, and so far it seems people are really happy with it. The next step now is to integrate our old news section (the "News" in the top menu bar) into our forums so that we can offer people to post articles and reviews and also comment on news etc. It will take a little while to get this up, but in the meantime please vote in the current poll about which features you would like. It really is an extremely simple customisation of the current forum thread templates, with the only difference being that the post is displayed a bit different, and comments are shown as posts without the normal avatar and user information fields. This may turn out to be a bit too simple but I'll give it a run for a few weeks. If you'd like to help out, you need to join the "Editorial staff group". Do this by going to your user panel and click on the "group Memberships" option in the vertical menu. Then join the group. I will probably have to approve people before they post but try it out if you want to help with the articles and news section. I will add more categories eventually but for now we're just testing.
