Tim_Lou Posted October 15, 2004 Report Share Posted October 15, 2004 hmm, the a=f/m makes sense to me...but.. if a planet for whatever reason is increasing in mass... which is approaching the mass of the earth... what will happen to the accerlation as the planet's mass approaching that of the earth (graphically?)and what about from having the same mass approaching a greater mass than earth?(the acceleration that the earth gives to the planet) is it like that the acceleration decreases to zero all of a sudden... or???is it like a discontinuity? is that possible?
