Where can I find help to use mutiple quotes in a reply?

A quick tutorial on quoting:

To quote someone, the easiest thing to do is hit the "Quote" button in their post. That will give you the basic "codes" to mark quotes. The basic format of this code is:

What Buffy said.

What you say about Buffy's post.

Comes out as:

What Buffy said.
What you say about Buffy's post.

You can then copy and paste some other quote (note that when you are posting to a thread, all the most recent posts show up *below* where you are entering your post), and then put these codes in and replace the name after the equals sign:

Buffy says something silly.

You say Buffy is silly.

Tormod says something brilliant.

You say Tormod is brilliant.

Comes out as:

Buffy says something silly.

You say Buffy is silly.
Tormod says something brilliant.

You say Tormod is brilliant.

You can also nest quotes, although this can get out of hand:

Buffy says something silly.

Tormod says Buffy is silly.

You say you agree with Buffy anyway.

Comes out as:

Buffy says something silly.
Tormod says Buffy is silly.

You say you agree with Buffy anyway.

*Always*--I'll repeat ALWAYS--edit what you're quoting to get down to *just* what you're responding to, its unbelievably rude to quote a page long post and then add "ditto." Don't be a dittohead (either kind). :steering:

Thank you Buffy, Good tutorial

To quote someone, the easiest thing to do is hit the "Quote" button in their post. That will give you the basic "codes" to mark quotes. The basic format of this code is:
That is how I began.
You can then copy and paste some other quote (note that when you are posting to a thread, all the most recent posts show up *below* where you are entering your post), and then put these codes in and replace the name after the equals sign:
Understood…..knew about *below*, Had brackets but no CAPS, = sign or /

Does it matter by starting a reply without space after unquote or on the next line? It doesn't seem to.

Buffy says something silly.
Tormod says Buffy is silly
You say you agree with Buffy anyway.
And you can quote me on that.
I tried (with no luck)to double or triple nest. Is that possible?

Thanks, again Buffy…….chendoh:)
