This is a spin of Buffy's Movie of the Week..

I usually Rent movies, cuz' I just don't care to pay $4 for a .20 cent pop! and $3 for a box of Jujubees!

Although there is something about the movie going experience!

I can rent movies and enjoy them much cheaper. Plus I can "enhance" the pleasure of the movie by doing things they wouldn't allow in the theatre..:hihi:

I usually go in binges..My latest binge

" Wedding Crashers " is pretty darn funny! I like Vince Vaughn..

" Warriors of Heaven and Earth " X-cellent flick! Its Chinese with subtitles!

" Batman Begins " was a pretty decent ComicBook movie!

" Land of the Dead " It was OK. I like Zombie movies. I hear they're remaking 'Day of the Dead' next. ( "28 days" later is still my pick for best Zombie movie! It'll scare the crap out of you! )

"Kingdom of Heaven" with Orlando Bloom was a good flick! I like Middle Ages Movies, and It does have historical truths in it.

"War of the Worlds" was so-so. I didn't buy Tom Cruises role...

"Enter the Dragon" rented that again, the Special edition. I know its old, But Damn, Bruce Lee is so much more ripped and bad *** on DVD version!!!

I built a home theater a couple of years ago. I highly recommend it. Don't worry about going high end. Entry level provides an awsome experience for far less than you would think. DIY!

Disagree with BigDog on Best John Candy...

" Planes, Trains, and Automobiles " hands down! :hihi:

Del: We'd have more luck playing pick-up sticks with our butt-cheeks than we will getting a flight out of here before daybreak.

waking up after sharing the same bed on the motel]

Neal: Del... Why did you kiss my ear?

Del: Why are you holding my hand?

Neal: [frowns] Where's your other hand?

Del: Between two pillows...

Neal: Those aren't pillows!

Del: You play with your balls a lot.

Neal: I do NOT play with my balls.

Del: Larry Bird doesn't do as much ball-handling in one night as you do in an hour!

Neal: Are you trying to start a fight?

Del: No. I'm simply stating a fact. That's all. You fidget with your nuts a lot.

Neal: You know what'd make me happy?

Del: Another couple of balls, and an extra set of fingers?

Neal: You know everything is not an anecdote. You have to discriminate. You choose things that are funny or mildly amusing or interesting. You're a miracle! Your stories have NONE of that. They're not even amusing ACCIDENTALLY! "Honey, I'd like you to meet Del Griffith, he's got some amusing anecodotes for you. Oh and here's a gun so you can blow your brains out. You'll thank me for it." I could tolerate any insurance seminar. For days I could sit there and listen to them go on and on with a big smile on my face. They'd say, "How can you stand it?" I'd say, "'Cause I've been with Del Griffith. I can take ANYTHING." You know what they'd say? They'd say, "I know what you mean. The shower curtain ring guy. Woah." It's like going on a date with a Chatty Cathy doll. I expect you have a little string on your chest, you know, that I pull out and have to snap back. Except I wouldn't pull it out and snap it back - you would. Agh! Agh! Agh! Agh! And by the way, you know, when you're telling these little stories? Here's a good idea - have a POINT. It makes it SO much more interesting for the listener!

I stand by "Uncle Buck" for John Candy. The scene where he is dozing on the couch and starts scratching the dog... The scene where he goes to the school and tells off the assistant principle... The hatchet... The other scene in the school where he gets down on one knee to use the low urinal. Best John Candy ever.

Then again... in Trains Planes and Automobiles, when John Candy is driving the car and gets his sleeves caught so he can't reach the steering wheel... and when he and Steve Martin finally realize they are driving the wrong way on the highway, and the two trucks are heading at them, and Steve Martin looks up and John Candy has turned into the Devil! I suffocate with laughter at that scene.

Yes InfiniteNow!!! :hihi:

And in the Motel, when he goes into the bathroom to wash his face! :)

Dirty sock water, and Big Underwear Towel.... :hihi:

There is a bit that got cut out of the hotel scene, but you see reference to it. Del turns on the bed vibrator and it makes all his beer explode. They mention cleaning it up later, but they don't show the havoc it caused.

And there was a scene on the tram at the airport rental that got cut. When Steve Martin gets off the bus I recognize the character actor's voice of the driver, but the scene is missing.
