BreakingBieda Posted April 1, 2020 Report Share Posted April 1, 2020 (edited) Hi, Im looking around for new respirator mask for my kinda universal type chemistry lab (both organic / inorganic)Does anyone know trusted suppliers of lab rated respirators in reasonable prices? or could reccomend me a specific model? I got some specific requirements for a respirator: - fullface cover (ideally with panoramic viev, less vision covered the better)- lightweight but still pretty durable- reasonably comfortable (for longer runs)- designed to wistand exposure like chemical gas incident or gas attack- bulkiness (less the better)(military masks with 40mm filters tends to be quite bulky with them attached)- compatibility (some companies do produce they own filters for specific models, but I rather take something with universal threads) Any advices?(I do work with dreadfull substances quite often so hard duty lab rated stuff is needed because my hardware store respirators don't really do well against them. I know I do ask for lot but anything even remotly close to what I described would be amazing, thank you! The one I use personally is just a mouth and nose respirator with two inlet filter cartridge points and a centerline exit port, mainly for high dust or organic compound filtering in certain jobsites. Thank you for that piece of quality advice :beer:Im gonna check the fullface version of North brand Honeywell (And some more models)As I said it have to be fullface due to wide range of reactions I want to proceed soon which does include fair bit of Lachrymatory agents and maybe even more dreadfull substances.
