Dead Galaxy

So I have noticed it’s about a week now everyday there is a new article from a different source about this. Not sure why it keeps making the news day after day as though there is something up with it we should know about.

 

This seems to be about the changes in em radiation, which is is true can affect our galaxy soon

 

 

 

 

can anyone explain what the big deal to us is?

The big deal is just understanding the universe we are i, no? Or you mean sth more specific?

So it is possible then in our lifetime this can cause vacuum decay? If the dead galaxy that was found not long ago was caused by a change in the fine structure constant then vacuum decay could be on its way?
