I kept wondering.  When does the instrument get too close and melt down?  Isn't the plasma terribly hot?  Is that the plan - that the instrument will eventually go out in a blaze of glory?  But. while the panel is seeing and reporting and we learn more of the hazards and benefits,  we can protect ourselves from one and take more advantage of the other.  Yes?
