What's Electropositive Ion Flux In A Plasma?

Is it the same as the plasma density ?

Is it directly proportional to the plasma density ?

Does this term only applies to electropositive plasma or applies to any plasma?

A plasma has +ve ions and electrons in it. It may be fully ionised, i.e. completely consisting of +ve ions and free electrons, or partially ionised, in which case the density of +ve ions will be less than the total density of the plasma.

However I do not know why the term "electropositive" is used here. Normally "positive" would be used. To me, the term "electropositive" belongs to chemistry and denotes chemical elements whose atoms readily give up one or more electrons when they form chemical compounds.

Do you have some context for your question, for instance can you quote or link to a longer section of text that might help explain why the write has used this term?
