fahrquad Posted May 21, 2019 Report Share Posted May 21, 2019 If I remember my high school biology from 1978 correctly, a bacteriophage consists of a protein coat enclosing an RNA strand that latches onto a bacterium and injects the RNA strand which then hijacks the bacteria to manufacture more phages. hazelm Posted June 1, 2019 Report Share Posted June 1, 2019 Somewhere in one of my newsletters, I saw a link with subject that bacteria fight each other in an effort to eliminate bad bacteria.
