Nanotubes to heal damaged bones

while they won't be replacing the entire bone with carbon one day you may have such an option

currently prosthetics are getting more and more sophisticated, to a point where they may be more advantageous than the stuff god gave us.

lighter stronger and more flexible? could atheletes eventually opt for replacing whole limb bones in order to achieve higher performance in sport?
