Here's an early prediction: This airplane will eventually be judged too unsafe for commercial airlines to fly.

This article by RT is beginning to explain why!

We can all begin by heaping condemnation on the US for allowing Boeing to do their own evaluations of the accidents.

More demerit points for America in this age of Trumpianism.

According to Bruno, the company should be ready to face legal costs, as the US is the most litigious society on Earth. The affected airlines reportedly have every right not only to sue Boeing, but to cancel their orders for the troubled airplanes, with the producer not having much power to stop them.

I heard on the news last night that the FAA has grounded the 737-800 (Max - 8 ) so I don't believe anyone in the world is flying these right now.  No news on the Max 7's or 9's (737-700 and 737-900).

For some reason if you type 8 and a parenthesis mark together you get 8) hence the extra spacing above.  I have never run across anything like that before.

Oops, I didn't realize there was a 737-600 in production, which I assume would be the Max-6.

As of 31 January 2019, a total of 7,089 737NG aircraft have been ordered, of which 6,996 have been delivered.[2] The remaining orders are in the -700 BBJ, -800, -800 BBJ and -900ER variants.[2] The most common variant is the -800, which has had over 5,000 delivered as of 2019 and is the most widely used narrowbody aircraft.[5] The 737NG's primary competition is with the Airbus A320 family. Upgraded and re-engined models in development as the 737 MAX series are eventually to supplant the 737NG, with the first 737 MAX delivered in 2017.

I think I have been on Boeing 727's, Airbus A-320's, McDonnell Douglas MD-80's, and Embraer ERJ-145's.  I honestly do not know what we flew in from Laguardia to Gatwick and back.  Nothing like an ERJ-145 on a very short landing strip to give that "Oh ****, we gonna die" feeling to a flight.

ADD:  Hey, I just noticed the site changed "shiite" to ****.  Seriously, aren't we all adults here?  Who really gives a flying **** what kind of colorful language is used?
