An Examination Of Trump.

1. It may be a lie but you brought up communism and so you wanted to discuss it. But libel is a little over the top isn't it?

2. Trump's birther remarks were all racist. Did you think they were meant for some other purpose? His base loves the racism issue and he used it to play to those lowlife schmucks. We're Canadians so can we just rise above the US lowlife nonsense?

I note that your post #147 is going on about private enterprise vs. government run services so I'll just briefly pursue that off-conversation here. Are you actually suggesting that Canada would be better off with the US style of health care? I can't quite believe any Canadian would think that!  And yes, I know there's big money to be made off the backs of the Canadian people, and that's the reason Alberta has some rightist politicians trying to wreck our health care system.

If you would prefer to leave health care and dwell on any other programs and services that government always does better, then we can to that. But I would reather ride the health care issue to the end with you. I really don't know what you might be promoting? Do you think the US system can compare favourably with hugely successful univeral, government run health care in the rest of the world's modern countries?

1. You defamed my character claiming that I brought up what you explicitly asked not to be brought up. That is definition of libel. I'm glad you admit you lied, now be better in the future.

2. Specifically, which ones? Cause I've gone back and checked, and nothing about it is remotely as you claim. Just like #1 this appears to be a LIE you are perpetuating. Every single other argument you make is called into discredit and question because you willfully ignore truth and lie. You cannot be trusted; facts and original sources please. If every single one is racist like you say, that should be VERY easy for you to do.

You started a whole heath care thread and are skidding around there like a pinto on black ice already. Probably best to keep it consolidated there (and try not to lie so much).

Just more of the same old ipse dixit "argument," eh, Monty?  It's the old petitio principii fallacy.  You know, the one where your "conclusion" merely reasserts your premise.

Like:  Trump's birther remarks were all racist; "therefore" Trump's birther remarks were all racist.

A hollow tautology, totally devoid of any substantive content.

It's all good Moronium, to add to our understanding of what makes Trump tick. What was it again that you are proposing for an alternative reason why Trump used the birther nonsense? Something about Obama not being born an American?

To what emotions does Trump appeal in his followers? Racism and exclusion of minorities are the two that stick out the most to me.

Yes, we should keep health care on the health care thread. But when you bring up the subject you shouldn't expect that I'll just ignore it for you.

I think that communism and capitalism are sub-topics that belong here on this discussion on Trump. The reason is, he's tricking the people into believing that any amount of 'socially responsible government' is equivalent to socialsim. He says that America will never be a socialist country, and that's a dishonest and exaggerated statement. Of course it never will be socialist, and neither will Norway. But by saying it he's coaxing the people into denying that which they're so desperately striving for. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN GOVERNMENT. Sooner or later we need to talk about that!

Really, Did *I* bring healthcare up? Or are you putting words in my mouth again? It's REALLLY easy to look back with those quote-arrows and see who brings things up. I've responded to it, but I wonder "who brought it up" ? This is that "China" thing all over again. Ya liar.

Still refusing to answer. I'll take that as you are too much of a liar to care about truth. In which case: why should anyone bother reading what you have to say? You're wasting my time and the site's bandwidth. Shape up.

You may be correct in saying that you didn't 'bring up' health care, but you at least mentioned it and that's what prompted me to answer. Sorry about that.

I'll take your comments on me being a liar as it relates to me refusing to answer to your idea that Trump using the birther stuff wasn't racism. So all I can say on that is that I believe that it was. Maybe the way forward for us would be for you to try to exaplain your position on how it was something other than racism?

Does this link serve to make my point on Trump's racism?

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/01/15/opinion/leonhardt-trump-racist.html

We have a difference of opinions and it's no reason to get angry and insulting. But what you can do is tell me what purpose other than racism was intended with the 'birther' remarks.

As to all your accusations against me, I'll accept full responsibility in order to bring it to a close.

So Tulsi Gabbard is introducing a bill to the US congress to stop Trump from pulling out of the INF. We know who the mad psychopath is by now but we may get some insight into which parrty, or both, is/are the war parties!

This at least begins to put the lie to the notion that it's the Russians that wanted out of it!

You have demonstrated yourself to be utterly incapable of analyzing your own assumptions, Monty, so I doubt this will help you at all, but...

1.  Suppose Obama was white.  Let's even change his name for purposes of visualization and call him "Nixon."

2.  Further suppose that Trump completely opposed his policies

3.  Further suppose that there were legitimate questions about Nixon's origin of birth.

Now, then, do you think Trump would ignore the situation because Nixon was white?

Conversely, if I disagree with a person who is not of my race, does that, ipso facto, suggest that I'm a racist?  (I suspect your answer to this one will be "yes').  But what if I'm black, and disagree with a white man, say Nixon?  Does that make me a racist?

The only answer I need provide for all your loaded questions is:

The odds of Trump being a racist are very high because of other racist remarks and racist actions we can attribute to him. Why do you want to defend him?

Here's my opening shot at supplying the evidence Mronium. don't miss reading all the links on studies and surveys done on your friend!

  • 4 weeks later...

Trump's mental illness has become ever more important as time goes by with him in power. It's become a question on how much damage he can do to America if he's allowed to continue. And then, if he is able to be elected for another 4 years, the damage he will do to America's standing in the world, both at home and abroad can't be over estimated.

For those reasons, the world can come out better if Trump is allowed to continue. He is destroying America in ways that China could never accomplish so quickly. And in the rest of the world's favour, we have MAD! (mutually assured destruction)

This isn't just my sentiments against the US now; it's the feelings of the rest of the world that is turning against America because of Trump's psychotic behaviour and his Republican party which won't take measures to stop him.

How many do you own Monty? 'Cause that's a lot of unsubstantiated conspiracy rhetoric yer (still) spewing...You would probably benefit from reading this end to end repeatedly.

Here's a few facts for you and me to talk about:

Trump has managed to alienate the EU and to the  point that the EU isn't going to allow a US war on Iran. (that drops the Zionist apartheid regime in deep ****)

Trump has caused Turkey to take a position that is making it practically impossible for Nato to allow Turkey to continue in it's ranks. (Russian missiles)

Trump has caused America to be a social renegade that is ignoring social norms of the rest of the world. (Canada/Trudeau is afraid to balk)

These are some of the reasons why I'm coming to think that Trump could become a real godsend (sic) for the world. America is being stripped of his political power because of it's following of Trump's anti-social (Hitlerian) practices.

If you're a Canadian then you must see how this Trump influence is eventually going to pay dividends for Canada. Our country has many valid reasons to withdraw more and more from any dependence on fair trade with the US. China can get us a boatload of perishable lettuce here within a week, and get it on the shelves at a cheaper price too!  But not only Canada is drawing away from the US because of US blackmail and unfair trade brought about by Trump!

Americans must soon start to see the light and stop the damage being done to their quasi-democracy. Resorting to world war to get their way is prohibitive on account of MAD.

Trump is kicking azz and taking names, eh?  He ROCKS!

Every cop who arrests a killer "alienates" the poor killer, eh?  Now, aint that a shame?

Your complete lack of any compassion for the killer tells me everything I need to know about your utter lack of social responsibility and compassion for your fellow man. And you should also know that your dogmatic attitude punishes you and your fellow Americans because of the fact that your way encourages recidivism among criminals.

I can celebrate that attitude in you because it's helping to bring down your country even faster. Your whole system is proving to be a failure; mainly because of the attitudes of people just like you, eh!

I like people like you moronium! You provide a soapbox for socialists!

Heh, says the guy who thinks it just fine to exterminate 50 million peasants if that is for the supposed "common good," eh?  You have the gall to lecture about "lack of social responsibility and compassion!?"  Your sympathies obviously lie with mass murderers on an unprecedented scale.

I'm sure if you were there, you would go running to be the first in line to sacrifice himself for the "benefit of all."  If you really want a cap busted in your sorry azz that bad, I may be able to help out.  If I killed you, you could have great compassion for me

Your buffoonery must be some kind of deliberate joke.

Refer to Norway's prison system and style of punishment for crime. It's likely the most successful in the world now.

Then contrast that with:

The US prison system which has the worst record in the world for overloaded prisons and recidivism and failure.

Then when you have brought yourself up to speed on the important facts, we can begin to talk about why decent people need to feel compassion for criminals.

And furthermore, in addition to Norway's system paying huge dividends on all counts, there is the mental health factor to consider of those who promote the US style of revenge and hate. Your seething hate is likely costing you a few years off of your life. This could be one of the reasons why US lifespan is reduced from the higher standards now being set by the rest of the first world countries.

We'll still talk about US failed health care and infant mortality rates being higher in the US, on a different topic. Now do your homework and stop being so angry.
