Yes. They definitely cause changes to children 100%. Very similar effects to sports like baseball and soccer. Much less out-of-place agression than other sports play like hokey or football.


Improved hand-eye(FPS), faster field-scan(twitch games), better motion-tracking(FPS or twitch games), leadership/cooperation(mmo & squad play). Those are typical results of videogames played 1-2 hours/day 5 days a week vs a baseline who did not play. I actually wrote a paper on it back in university, I can probably dig up a bunch of sources I used if you want hard data.
