Aliens spy on us!

Aliens are humans from the future who have learned to time travel by utilising the

magnetic weak points where the Latitudinal and Longitudinal lines intersect around the globe.

Their 'flying saucers' punch holes through time by distorting these fields.

That is why radar-telescopes, which scan the heavens millions of lights years into the

distance, never see aliens on their 'eye-spy' voyages.....

How do I know?.....I asked them.

if your version of The Aliens is correct then we can be happy to know that we are the only people existing under living category at this time in this entire universe , so heya we own this universe at this time!!!,,lol. sorry for that. If they are our future, then we are not their past!!..i know its gonna be hard for you to understand this but please try to!! meanwhile try to understand what is time and what is its basis , do some thinking on what is future and what is past and its significance and moreover do some senible ( within human limits) thinking about the need to have a universe. once we die/ cease to live this universe that we know cease to exist!! universe and time exist only as long as you exist and wonder!!, what is that .. puncturing magnetic fields?? latitude longitudes?? what has it got to do with time?? time is a function and not an independent variable that can be changed by altering EMF, its just a measure. let me give yoy an exaple, we have a 1 meter scale now if i erase those 100 cms divisions and mark them accordingly in inches will the meter size change?? hence conclusions must be based on logic mixed with knowlege ,not just knowlegde or logic. alright so can i say i can puncture your intelligence to gain control over you..? nope. exactly intelligence is a relative concept so is time.., did you mean puncturing space time?? well got sence but , but i still fail to understand the real intentions of universe behaviour, we can see and forget those aliens like we see birds! c'se whatever happens in this universe dosent really seems to matter c'se at last this is all a illusion of life, growth, competition, conquor , quest , and love!!, sorry if my post is not self explanatory, ill improve from your sugesstions c'se i think you all being a part of this universe your thoughts cannot be created from beyond this universe and hence i accept everyones vies as a new feature of this universe ..c'se you are the universe!

if got a simple answer to aliens...right. bear with me: we are on one planet, right? in one solar system, right? in one galaxy, in one universe. (hey there could be millions of them) the possibilities of other living creatures with intelligence, in my opinion, is quite high. i mean, we cant be the *only* intelligent beings in this one place in the known universe, can we?

Depends how probable life is. What if it's a billion billion to 1? Humans may have cosmic significance after-all

Yeah, great book. He's a good writer.

Here is some hearsay about the Drake equation: I just attended a conference in the Netherlands regarding the Cassini/Huygens mission, which is currently entering the Saturn system. Some of the people there where from JPL, where Carl Sagan worked back in the heydays of the Voyager and Pioneer space probes.

One of them was the chief scientist of the mission, and he pointed out an interesting problem which he said had come up when he had talked to Frank Drake. The left part of the equation, "N", is the number of civilizations in The Milky Way Galaxy whose electromagnetic emissions are detectable.

Now, after some 50 years of radio transmission, suddenly radio and television broadcasts are going silent. Most of it is now transmitted either via satellite or fiber optic cables. Both of these would be undetectable if you look for electromagnetic emissions.

The problem becomes whether the "window of opportunity" for finding civilzations based on the assumption that they actually make noise that we can detect is much shorter than what Frank Drake assumed.

I had never really thought of that before, but it is an interesting perspective. It could imply that the search for radio signals with the Arecibo telescope could be in vain (but we might of course never know that).

For the record, I think the Drake equation is a great idea and a masterful stroke. If it turns out to be flawed, it could still be repaired if we can find other ways to identity civilizations. The equation was constructed in a time period when electromagnetic emissions due to communication was the obvious thing to look for (since we caused a lot of it ourselves). Maybe other civilizations would stay with radio longer, while other would do it shorter.

Just finished it. Thought it was a good argument. And it was nice to see that the bulk of the book was rooted in chemistry and biology, although the message of the book i feel could have simpy been the final chapter (11).

I maybe wrong but an argument against it would be his assumption that life is a trillion to one. No where in the book i think did he explain why DNA occuring is a trillion to one. It feels as though it was plucked out of mid-air, but maybe ive missed something of importance along the way.

p.s. only cost me £2.20 in hardback. Thumbs up for that one!

Ya know, I keep wondering how, since Latitudinal and Longitudinal lines are completely arbitrary based on human desires, not actual physical attributes (ya the equator is in the middle) how would the earth know to make it's magnetic field weaker at these points? And why would it do so?

Depends on your definition of life

I once heard the begining of life defined as when the dog dies and the kids move out.

Seriously though. I think this is a major issue. I once associated "organic" with life. I was suprised to find out how easy it is to identify "organic". And how little it has to do with "life".
