Iran&palestinians: The Tenth Attempt To Destroy Israel

Over the past hundred years, the Palestinians have tried to destroy the Jews, with their own force or with someone else’s  hands, nine times:

  1. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Palestinians hoped to destroy the Palestinian Jews by the hands of the Turks. It is believed that only the patronage of Germany saved the Jews from massacres, similar to those that the Turks organized to Armenians and Greeks. Instead, the Turks have expelled about a third of the then-time Jewish population from Palestine. Tel Aviv Mayor Dizengoff was imprisoned, despite the fact that in 1914 he publicly called on Jews to join the Turkish army and «defend the fatherland.» A graduate of Istanbul University, David Ben Gurion, also called on Jews to join the Turkish army, but he was deported from the country along with the rest of the non- Turkish Jews.
  2. Then the Palestinians tried to «independently» destroy the Jews in the 30s of the XX century. Izz ad Din al-Qassam, followed by Amin al-Husseini, called on the Palestinian people to revolt in order to destroy the Jews.
  3. Then arose the Palestinian hope for the Hitler’s Holocaust of the Jews in the entire Middle East, which Amin al-Husseini requested  from Hitler.
  4. Then there was an attempted genocide of Jews in 1948, first independently, and then by the hands of the Arabs, with the support of Great Britain.
  5. In 1967, an attempt was made to destroy Israel by the hands of the Arabs, with the support of the USSR.
  6. After this, the Palestinians hoped that the new Arab war of 1973, due to the defeat of Israel, would lead to the genocide of the Jews.
  7. The terror of Oslo and the Intifada of 2001 were clearly aimed at destroying the civilian population and causing a massive flight of the Jews. This attempt failed due to the Israeli re-occupation of West Bank Palestine and due to the construction of the Defensive Wall, which the Palestinians called the «Apartheid Wall».
  8. The massive accumulation of Hezbollah missiles and the ensuing war of 2006, where in fact an attempt by Iran to destroy Israel due to the mass exodus of the Jews. This attempt haven’t caused the flight of the Jews, however, it prevented Jews to flee from Europe to Israel.
  9. Finally, the accumulation of missiles and tunnels in Gaza, with periodic «checks» of their effectiveness, failed, too, primarily because of the Israeli system of anti-missile defense «Iron Dome». This time the Jews haven’t fled Israel, too.

So, Israel survived 9 attempts of annihilation, which failed due to “Zionist” persistence of the Jews.

The Nakba of 1948 was the result of a Palestinian attempt to genocide of Jews with the help of Hitler (1939-1945). According to the diary of Palestinian leader Amin al-Husseini, Hitler promised him «when the hour strikes» to occupy the Middle East and crack down on the Jews. And indeed, after Rommel’s offensive through Egypt failed, Hitler advanced Wehrmacht to Caucasus. Fortunately, the encirclement at Stalingrad forced the German forces to retreat from the Caucasus.

When Amin asked Hitler to consent to a «solution of the Jewish question» throughout whole Middle East, Hitler replied: «Jews are Yours «, that is, do with them whatever you want. The conversation of these two leaders took place three months before the «Wannsee conference,» where the Nazi  bosses developed a practical plan for the genocide of the Jews.

The Palestinian people suffer only because of their own «mistakes». The more support the Palestinians receive, the less ready they are to compromise and peace. The «humanists at the expense of Israel» play down the fact that the termination of the Israeli occupation of Palestine will not automatically bring peace. Just opposite has already happened. In practice, it is impossible to help Palestine by encouraging Palestinian attempts to destroy Israel. In the end, it was this «help» that led the Palestinian people into a stalemate of constant war and backwardness.

Now we are witnessing the tenth Palestinian attempt to destroy Israel. This time, the Palestinians hope for Iran and its allies. Mahmoud Abbas, in his statements, has already justified the upcoming genocide of Jews, under pretext that the Jews are Khazars who forcibly took Palestine from the Muslims. Abbas, after Hitler, justified the Holocaust of the Jews under pretext that the Jews are exploiters. Let’s recall, the justification of the Holocaust is the favorite topic of the ayatollahs. Moreover, the Hamas-staged «march of return» on the border of Gaza is aimed at convincing the Iranian people and all Muslims «to help the Muslims of Palestine». By causing Gaza population to suffer, HAMAS undermines Jewish and Christian support to Israel.

In fact, both Abbas and Hamas have invited the ayatollahs to start a war against Israel and to carry out what they have promised for many years: the genocide of the Jews.

Trump will have to wait with his peace plan until the moment when Iran’s and Palestinian current attempt fails. Until the Palestinian people still have the hope for the genocide of the Jews, their leaders will not agree to peace with Israel on any terms. I hope that Trump understands this truth. But possibly, Putin will decide the fate of this attempt.

Over the past hundred years, the Palestinians have tried to destroy the Jews, with their own force or with someone else’s  hands, nine times...

One hundred years is a falsehood, but, since the creation of Israel, Palestinians have been displaced from the property they previously owned and was taken from them.  The failure of the two parties to come to a peaceful resolution should have been foreseen by our parents and grandparents, but it wasn't, possibly because they themselves were guilty of maintaining the colonial system that existed for many years in the area.

One thing is sure, though, killing protesters is not a good way to promote your political views.

I am reminded of Malcolm Gladwell's TED talk about the Norden bombsight.  (English transcript and video can be found here: https://www.ted.com/talks/malcolm_gladwell/transcript?language=en)The US went to great lengths to build a bombsight that could accurately place bombs on target in order to minimize civilian casualties and maximize effectiveness in the second world war.  It went to even greater lengths to ensure the security of that sight to prevent the enemy from having this technology.  As it turns out, not only was the technology faulty in the field, the enemy already had it and was employing it themselves.  Gladwell then turns to the development of accurate drone targeting of terrorists by the US.  Our drone campaign, with a few exceptions, has been extremely effective in killing only the individuals and those around them that are targeted.  But the question remains, have we accomplished our goals?  Gladwell argues, and I agree, that while we have increased our ability to kill only those we target, and while the majority of our targets may have been deserving, the US has not in any way provided for its security over the last 17 years.  Instead, while our ability to target enemies without risk to our troops has become better, we have lost sight of the fact that our original mission was to provide for our safety, and therefore, regardless of the accuracy of drones, the mission has failed.

Regardless of how well Israel targets Hamas in a demonstration, or Hezbollah in an airstrike, Israel is no closer to securing peace.  History is littered with examples of those that win the battle and lose the war.  The US has been and continues to be a bad example in this regard.  Please don't be swayed by the rhetoric of those like Twittler.

Walls don't work.  They didn't work in an age where the height of technology was being able to fire arrows accurately while riding on a horse.  Once the invention artillery came in to play, walls were useless stationary targets and were replaced with trenches.  History has shown that defensive trenches aren't reliable either, especially now that rockets and vertical envelopment exists.

If your goal is to provide for the security of your country, then there is reason to believe that in spite of how well you target your enemy, selectively killing the enemy is not conducive to peace.  Regardless of how good you are at your job, you end up creating more enemies than you kill.  This is a fact that can be observed in most of the military endeavours the US has involved itself in since the Indian Wars.  We won the Indian Wars, the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the World Wars because we so utterly defeated the will of the enemy to resist that those that were left were willing to concede.  Targeted assassination and limited warfare like we fight now does not accomplish this goal, and as such, regardless of how good we are, we will fail.

The only wars the US has actually won in its history can be divided into two categories.  In the first, the will of the people to resist our aims wasn't strong, and when we overthrew the ruling parties, the people did not rebel against us or the puppets we installed.  The many altercations we've had with Central and South American countries fall into this group, along with the Barbary pirates and other limited confrontations.  You might even throw in the war of 1812 here, though from another perspective, the only reason we won is that we didn't lose it all.  In the other category, we so completely defeated the populace that they were willing to accept the terms that we imposed upon them to accept peace.  Spain, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Britain, and Iraq in the first Gulf War fall into this category.

Every time we have tried to use limited military means against a determined populace, we have absolutely failed to accomplish our goals, regardless of how efficient we were in targeting the enemy.  We bombed the ever-loving **** out of Korea and Vietnam, and we lost both of those wars.  However, since making peace, Vietnam can be considered at least a sympathetic party.  North Korea is still a problem that is still festering, much like Iraq, Syria, Libya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen, various North and mid-African countries, and you might even throw in Tunisia, Indonesia, the Phillipines, and Russia if you're being squirrelly.

Walling off the middle east can not lead to peace for the US, and it certainly won't lead to peace for Israel.  However, our current tactics aren't helping either.  War, instead of being the last resort, is too often the easiest resort for temporary solutions to political problems, and the only thing it seems to accomplish is the propagation of enemies and the burning of American lives and the enrichment of the military industrial complex.

I am not saying that there is never a case for war.  I am saying, though, that if you are unwilling to embrace the death and wanton destruction of total war, then your aims are better pursued through political means rather than limited military means.

We do not live in a world where walling off a geographical section of the world is a solution for anything, and we likely never did.

Well, of course, walls are a result of wishful thinking, but walls work in biology.  When part of a body gets infected, sometimes the body walls it off, cuts off nutrients, and lets that part of the body die to save the whole.  I know it isn't realistic, but wouldn't it be nice if we could just have a global shunning?  We go in there thinking we are the good guys and help one side win, and the the winning side will turn their hatred to us.  It seems pointless for us to think we can go in there and pick the winners.
