REMEMBRANCE  DAY

According to Israeli Ministry of Defense, Israeli death casualties reach 25.000. Among these, 17.000 soldiers fell from 1948 to 2018 (Independent Israel), in addition to 4.000 civilians. These fallen soldiers include about 400 Druze and 150 Bedouin soldiers. Civilian losses include Arab citizens’ losses, too.

In the course of British rule (1920-1948) 1303 Jews were killed inside Palestine boundaries (1019 civilians and 284 militants). In addition, 1328 refugees perished as the result of British naval blockade of Palestine.

May their memory be blessed.

Looks as if the Brits did a better job than the State of Israel, then!

Most of Israeli losses were caused by the Palestinians or as the result of aggression, which the Palestinian have invited. In addition, both Great Britain and the USSR participated anti-Israel aggression in the less or more open way. In the course of last 20 years, Iran is the leading force of anti-Israel aggression. it inspired and paid for Hizbullah and HAMAS aggressiveness.

How far back do you 'remember' ?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Jews_and_the_Crusades#Massacre_of_Jerusalem

Jews fought side-by-side with Muslim soldiers to defend Jerusalem against the Crusaders.[4] Saint Louis University Professor Thomas F. Madden, author of A Concise History of the Crusades, claims the "Jewish Defenders" of the city knew the rules of warfare and retreated to their synagogue to "prepare for death" since the Crusaders had breached the outer walls.[5] According to the Muslim chronicle of Ibn al-Qalanisi, "The Jews assembled in their synagogue, and the Franks burned it over their heads."[6] One modern-day source even claims the Crusaders "[circled] the screaming, flame-tortured humanity singing 'Christ We Adore Thee!' with their Crusader crosses held high."[7] However, a contemporary Jewish communication does not corroborate the report that Jews were actually inside of the Synagogue when it was set fire.[8] This letter was discovered among the Cairo Geniza collection in 1975 by historian Shelomo Dov Goitein.[9] Historians believe that it was written just two weeks after the siege, making it "the earliest account on the conquest in any language."[9]However, all sources agree that a synagogue was indeed burned during the siege.

Upon the capture of Jerusalem, Saladin summoned the Jews and permitted them to resettle in the city.[108] In particular, the residents of Ashkelon, a large Jewish settlement, responded to his request.

As the majority of your posts seem to be on this subject, moving forward, can you briefly tell me what exactly has to happen for you to consider the issues you have with this situation closed? What diplomatic solutions would the nations of this world have to preform to give you satisfaction, and make this right in your eyes?

Actually, Jews fought against Crusaders not in Jerusalem only, but also in Haifa and up to 10 other towns. As the result, most of local Jews of then-time Palestine were slaughtered. In addition, Crusaders have slaughtered about 300 Zionist Jews in Acre. After Crusaders' defeat, there remained alive only 5.000 Jews in all Palestine.
