Dubbelosix
A link to a recent blog entry, which explains in (a small amount of detail) the idea's that nag me concerning gravity and why, in the end, I think gravity can play one of two roles https://casimirzeropoint.quora.com/A-Summary-of-Scale-Dependent-Gravity
A-wal
I think of gravity as being weaker simply because of the E=mc^2 ratio. Mass, if you want to think of gravity as a curvature of spacetime (I don't see the difference between following a straight path in curved spacetime and following a curved path in flat spacetime) causes an inward curvature that pulls objects together (gr) and energy causes an outwards curvature that pushes objects apart (sr), x c^2 of the inward curvature of mass. Either way you're creating a curved path that is experienced as length contraction and time dilation when compared to objects following a straight path.
