An Asteroid With A Language Lesson

Oumuamua, the first interstellar object ever seen in our solar system, flew close enough to our sun to be pulled into the fiery furnace, were it larger.  But, at a speed of 196,000 miles per hour, it was able to escape and leave us in the dust as it went on to its destination "wherever".

 

"Oumuamua" - Hawaiian for "a messenger from afar arriving first"  Fascinating what Hawaiians can do with only twelve letters in an alphabet.  Yes?
