This is awesome! I use zooniverse as well and I really enjoy it!

The great thing about Zooniverse is that anyone can use it and use it with their passions. Thanks for sharing!

Also, go to planethunters.org to see the official (registered) Zooniverse planet. There have been at least two planets discovered - and confirmed - using that application.

Thanks and welcome!

Yes, the exoplanet explorers website is even easier to use than planet hunters, just 2 clicks and anybody can find an exoplanet

There are billions of potentially habitable exoplanets out there waiting to be discovered, and we have found only 52!

Ah yes, the exos found in planet hunters, so interesting, one of them could actually have a pontentially habitable moon.

Regards.

I think that one of those planets discovered was PH-1b, which orbited 4 stars. That wasan amazing discovery!

The main problem is that you need to find a transit and then have it registered as a transit candidate and then have an astronomer to actually take time out of their schedule to either confirm or reject it.

Back in February 2014 there were a few hundred planets discovered! I think that they doubled their catalogue in a month with most of those discoveries being transits from the Kepler Space Telescope.

I am currently on holiday in Melbourne but am flying back in about an hour so when I get access to a pc I will use that awesome program.

Everyone should use Zooniverse.org
