Photon Latency Error In Solar And Lunar Eclipses

Light from -

 

* The moon takes 1.3 seconds to reach Earth

* The sun takes more than 8 1/2 minutes to reach Earth

 

This is because of the time taken by photons to reach Earth in each of the above cases.

 

How accurate are our perspectives of solar and lunar eclipses in light of the above approximations, when viewed by terrestrial telescopes ? :sherlock:
