Mercury can be diced into solar collectors made from hematite that can focus light into the first ever black holes (that are small & unstable enough to evaporate & we've never even observed that happen naturally), that we can study black holes up close & personal. When these small, unstable artificial black holes evaporate, we will see inner worlds, be able to reconstruct our own region of the cosmos within them a googolplex times over again, & use the sub-Planck type III civilization to voyage far beyond our cosmic horizon.The Sun is the Lake of Fire. There are questions I would ask but that would indeed be mixing science and religion - a read verboten deed on a science forum - so I will not. I don't think it would be mixing science and religion because nothing he says has the remotest connection with science - at least not the universe as everybody else knows it. All right. Maybe not accurate science. I do not know. Two questions and I think they are in part scientific. Aren't black holes thought to be dead stars? Are black holes bottomless? And a part I do not remember exactly and shan't take time to look right now - definitely a bible question: Was there not a time to come when the people condemned to the "Lake of Fire (black hole) would be released and Satan chained up in a darkened "dead" Lake of Fire? Just some things that went through my mind as I read Super Polymath's original posts and for which I'd appreciate answers, if allowed. He seems to be putting an extended story to an old sermonizing prediction. Is he trying to relate what we know in today's scientific world to what was thought to be truth before we began to make these discoveries. And, to whoever called it word salad. Indeed. The entire book of Revelations is word salad and I think SP is writing in a moderated similar style. If there is anyone else here who had occasion to study the history of how the Bible (collections or early writings) was put together, he/she will know that there was a heated word battle over whether Revelations should even be included. I do wish I'd known that phrase "word salad" at university. :-) Super Polymath, feel free to correct me where I am misinterpreting. Both are a word salad which is put together in a way which is grammatically correct but which has the peculiar quality of making no sense at all. This gives the impression of being very clever and knowledgeable. Unfortunately we cannot challenge John about his writings, and there seems to be no common ground on which one can challenge Super Polymath because if he responds, it is always equally incomprehensible. Now it is possible that one or both of these writers thought or think that their writing mean something, but I suspect that we shall never know. But you do get the impression that they both are on a diet of the same magic mushrooms. My avatar is taken from the Book of Revelation, by the way, and the title is singular, not plural. My questions still stand. Was this SP's intention - to link Revelations to today's new scientific knowledge. Some people see connections that others do not. Any mass collected into a small enough space will produce a singularity of matter whose gravitational pull light cannot escape from. In my OP, this is caused by collecting massive amounts of sunlight through a planet's worth of solar panel, & focusing that radiation into a beam powerful enough to produce a thermodynamic singularity. Are black holes bottomless? The gravity well of a black hole depends on its mass, but it's never infinite. The larger the black hole, the larger the volume of its event horizon & the smaller the volume of its singularity, .
