Relativity Challenged With 6 Paradoxes.

quickquestion

Here are the ground rules:

This video is how I teach, it is similar to a powerpoint with motion graphics. To say that it is absurd to explain my theories with a video is like saying it absurd for a professor to stand up and talk to the class with a powerpoint presentation.

Second, you will need to pony up and defeat all six of my paradoxes through logical, rational reasoning.

You cannot simply hand me 500 pages of calculus and lagrangian equations, and tell me I need to go to college for four years to prove myself wrong.

You must prove me wrong using english and sound logic. If you cannot formulate a self-contained disproof of me, without passing me 500 equations with no explanation, then I will not say you are giving me a personal disproof, but rather, cannot put into words what you are thinking.

Ho hum, sounds like someone who can't hack the maths to me. But since we already know you are not interested in understanding physics before attempting to replace it, there is little point in engaging you, let alone watching your video.

But perhaps others may have more patience than I.

Ho hum, so you have nothing better to do but use up my First Post slot with nothing but nonsense.

Since you post says absolutely nothing, I will politely ask the mods to erase your post so that someone can post who actually stays on topic.

Because I don't have very much patience.

Haven't watched the video but if someone has a genuine understanding of why they are false paradoxes then they would have absolutely no problem explaining why they're false.

Thankyou. This is a very rational statement and you probably have a rational mind.

Well, besides the fact that your link doesn't work, I'd point out that for the deaf and hearing-impaired, videos are indeed a poor mechanism for communicating. Perhaps in the process of creating captions for the video you might get a chance to review what you're talking about from a different learning modality.

A reminder that you don't get to make your own rules in life, let alone here on a private forum. Many of our members have devoted more than 4 years of college working to understand physics, and demanding that they educate you about where your theory is wrong is likely to be met with either derision--as was the case above--or simply being ignored.

Disdain for other people's knowledge and wisdom, might generally be considered a bad idea.

What makes you think that just because someone has spent time on learning other peoples favorite explanations on a subject, that they are therefore correct?

They may know well what they have been told, but that is not the same as knowing what is correct.

The missing video is actually here:

but the quality of production is really crap.

however, towards the end, the content explaining the paradoxes is OK, and the authors point can be understood.

Ive heard all kinds of so called solutions to the great number of paradoxes related to SR, and none of them are satisfactory, most miss the point or side step the issue.

A sound theory should never be material that allows the invention of so many paradoxes, it shown that the theory is not solid, and in SR's case, its a total mess of a theory. (analretentives  can substitute "hypothesis' for "theory")

Hmmm, not that the video is available, and the warning given that the first half is not worth watching, but that the second part contains the authors paradoxes, all the "self proclaimed experts" have run away...

Quote: "Disdain for other people's knowledge and wisdom, might generally be considered a bad idea."  but this goes both ways guys.

You guys who think that just because you have learned by rote, what your professor told you, and that took 4 years, then you have some right to claim superiority of theory.

This guys paradoxes should be taken seriously, and addressed with serious replies.  One point at a time, not skipping the logic, not claiming falsely that there is no logic here, which is the usual excuse.

But where have you all gone?
