Maine farmer Posted January 12, 2017 Report Share Posted January 12, 2017 Our computer in the barn runs on Windows 7, and every time I let it install updates, I am no longer able to connect to the internet, so I have to go and reset the computer to be able to connect . RigoVR Posted January 18, 2017 Report Share Posted January 18, 2017 Hello Farming guy, The problem is most likely happening because of the drivers of the network adapter not working correctly after the update.You could try to download the newest driver for the network adapter and putting it on a USB. After the windows update you could try to install them.If that didn't fix the problem you could also try this:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10741/windows-10-fix-network-connection-issues (This procedure should also work for windows 7).
