fahrquad
Only two atomic bombs have ever been used in war, and those were the ones dropped by the US on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. This led to a rapid end to the war in the Pacific and a huge reduction in the loss of life by avoiding a devastating ground war. Atomic bombs, both fission and fusion bombs, have been tested by the US, the USSR, China, India, Pakistan, France, the UK, and a number of other countries. The last tests conducted by the nuclear states of atomic bombs occurred in the 1990's, with the exception of rogue nation North Korea, who claims to have tested a hydrogen bomb in January of 2016. Most of the nuclear powers are parties to one disarmament treaty or another, except for North Korea. I believe this was the Bikini Atoll. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_states_with_nuclear_weapons
fahrquad
Hydrogen fusion bomb test at Bikini Atoll in 1954. Damn, the military must hate that island.
