Do You Think Intelligence Is Inherited Or Learned?

I get what you're trying to say. I know of a few Ph.D's who are complete social dropouts and totally incapable of performing many basic tasks that require intelligence outside of their field of expertise.

We are likely born with an already installed IQ, which can be measured in early childhood. If it happens to be much under 100 then we've been dealt a bad hand and usually won't go on to achieving a higher IQ.

I think we can generalize the expression. yes ,there is no problem to generalize it.

just look at the big picture of worldwide, how many does professors exist? (numerous)

and how many of them are so intelligent to be said that were "genius".

no, it is a very small ratio. (under probably 0.0001% or smaller.(predicted randomly))

Well, selecting from a group of university professors in certainly not a "random" selection with respect to the population as a whole.  I'm sure the percent would be much higher than that.  But the point is still valid.  Higher than average IQ is no doubt required to obtain a PhD, but there are still a lot of "educated idiots" around.

I think there exists a mixture of information.

but could you explain please, if your this information was corrrect, and that professors were really and obiviously intelligent ones

why are they not the known professors all around the world ?

could you examplify and which or how many professors are known all around the world?

no,not really a large amount of them.

I'm not sure what you're asking here, but I was addressing your "0.0001%" figure, not the number of professors.
