Annoying issue!

Recommended Posts

I assume i am the only person with this problem because nobody else has said anything...and i'm guessing it's because i'm on a mac.

anyways...every time i visit this page, and every time i go to a thread, or go to any other page that's on this website, a new blank popup comes up.

i could surf hypography for 5 minutes and have 30 blank popups!?!?!?!

i've never had this problem...did you guys change the settings or something?

if it's too much trouble, don't bother. i can live with it.

if you don't know why it's doing this, that's ok. i can live with it.

if it's an easy solution, FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!

does anybody else have this going on?

thank you for your time!

FWIW, I've been in and out all day and I've only got the 1 popup per 24 hours that's supposed to come up. Have you changed your cookie settings? Tried clearing your cache? It sounds like a problem with your site cookie. Maybe a logout and in will fix it.

yeah i understand that...it's just odd that the 5 months i've been here it's never happened. then all of a sudden i'm getting flanked.

i never ever get popups, mac is sexy like that.

whatever, just something i'll get used to and forget about.

thanks anyways :naughty:

yeah...windows is disgustingly infested with that crap.

i just restarted my computer and the problem dissipated.

no more hypography-every-page pop-ups. cool.

and i KNOW what pop-up blockers are for, i mean...just look at the name. how could you not know.

orbsycli, I'm on a Mac also and the same thing happens

to me. Except the popups aren't blank. They are all ads for "Starwars".

Every time I change a screen at this site a new one pops up. It's

very annoying but I'm new here and I thought it was supposed to be

this way since that's how it's always been since I started logging in.

If I open a new screen in a new tab, which I usually do, then they

pop under. As a result, when I'm finished I usually find 15 or 20

of them that I have to delete. It would be nice if they came less

often.

This is weird...what browser are you guys using? I have no problems with Firefox on my Mac. I have never seen this issue.

The only thing I can think of may be that your browser is blocking cookies from the popup server...but that should not be a Mac only issue.

If you're using Safari try Firefox instead and let me know if the problem persists.

i just prefer safari. firefox doesn't have the problem. and i figured out the solution so everyting is all good!
I use and prefer Safari also and if you've figured out

the problem please let me know how. I have to delete

at least thirty of those ads everytime I log in.
