There once was a girl in this forum

Who had not a smidge of decorum

Drank four bottles of beer

And then said "oh dear"

"I might be a bit tippsy, ho hum"

Irish once drank a beer quite brown,

after toasting she poured it right down.

Nemo offered up a questioning frown,

when Irish spake, I'm such a tippsy clown.

Have one for me Irish........................

Standing barefoot on a milk-crate to paint works OK;

I think if I had some wet sand to walk in when I step down,

the footprints might induce me to pour something into them.

I know how to not stand on the edge of the crate now.

Maybe it's funny how my face must have looked when I learned that; if someone's misfortune is ever funny.

I stand in the middle of the crate now and only let a few toes go over the edge.

If I paint sitting down then my chi gets some choking; funny it doesn't so much if I'm drafting.

Standing barefoot on a milk-crate to paint works OK,

but I still sometimes forget to breathe.

i dont have a name for it yet

funk yoga

he's already got one

jive disco

they've already got some

funk toga

i've already lost it

san francisco

half past midnight i was against the wall

with an empty book of matches the ashes hate to fall

but they do until they don't

and then we'll smoke some more

you think you heard a noise?

well she must have,

why else would you say that

a raccoon named jack nimbles his way through the haze of constant synthetic lightning and grass.

the moonmonsters have awoken..

and the human stands still..

survival mode, you call it

but you know your mind is just a pair of noids

jack has disappeared

seven ships a sinking

all because of rocks

and in a state of drowning

no one's seem to talks

just the last bubbles of breath

you dig so deep for memories

you sink

into your subconcious, your entire life's movie compressed into a heartbeat

you think yourself to death

you forget about ocean water that is terminally entering your inflated body through two burst lungs.

into the ocean

to simply drown and transfer your energy

the regrets are more painful than your body exploding from the thousands of pounds of pressure as you're dragged away by a giant squid that no living person has ever seen alive

jack reappears

and stands still

just as i just did

are we both attentive

is this a connection

what is he doing

what does he want

is it always about money

im talking to a bandit

....telepathically

he hasn't budged

well neither have i

oh the moon sure is electric tonight

!

he moved

just a gesture not define

but if i had to guess

we come in peace

give me your corn dog remnants

where is your trash located

may i assist you

you're it

any or all of the above

i take a step back

so does jack

i take a step forward

but jack gallops away

i said wait a minute hey!

but it was foggy

and shortly jack'd be gone

it's half past midnight, not that it's late,

but i think i'll leave this town, it aint that great.

the tamiami trail leads all to nowhere,

and swamps.

Daddy's Little Boy

By Jacob Hatfield (Thats my real name...)

Daddy’s little boy,

Got a fading picture

In his dresser drawer,

Its all he knows,

And nothing more.

Daddy’s little boy,

Asks out loud,

Do you think about me daddy?

Do you wonder daddy?

Do you wonder about me?

Do you have a picture daddy,

Of me in your dresser drawer?

Is that all you know of me,

And nothing more?

Where are you?

Are you alive daddy?

Or are you growing old?

Was I a mistake daddy?

Then why are you gone!

All I have,

All I know…

Is in that dresser drawer.

That fading picture, daddy.

That’s all I know,

And nothing more.

But its all I want, daddy.

And nothing more…

Hitching a custom ride,

on a cruise ship bound.

Going to far off places,

with shores seldom found.

A dream of adventure,

chasing the wind of chance.

Ocean spray in my face,

watching the dolphin dance.

Meeting new and interesting people,

everyday brings a new friend.

Until the next off boarding,

when the voyage finds it's end.
